Marine Geospatial Ecology Tools Announcements MGET 0.6 is released This release includes: ·
ArcGIS 9.3 compatibility. ·
Eric Treml's coral larvae dispersal simulator. See the end of this presentation for an
overview. ·
Tools for downloading sea surface height, geostrophic currents,
significant wave height, and sea surface winds data from Aviso over the OPeNDAP protocol. ·
A tool for predicting Bayesian probability maps from
generalized additive models. ·
Various bug fixes and enhancements. See the Change List for details. Download this release from the MGET

species habitat or occurrence by fitting a multivariate statistical model to

EBM Tools Awareness webinar tomorrow at 2 pm Eastern Daylight Time (US and
Canada). Registration information is below. ***
Please distribute to interested parties.*** The Ecosystem-Based
Management (EBM) Tools Network is pleased to announce that it
will host a demonstration of Marine Geospatial Ecology Tools (MGET) by Jason
Roberts of Duke University on Wednesday, October 15, at 2 pm EDT (US &
Canada). Please note that this webinar will involve the use of
both an online desktop sharing system for video AND a conventional
telephone conference call for audio. The video and audio portions
will be enabled 30 minutes prior to the start of the webinar to allow users to
test their systems. Information on registering for the webinar is
below. The webinar is open to the public so please distribute to any
potentially interested parties.

and pdf file of this presentation will be made available on the EBM Tools
