Hi Tim,

Unfortunately we have not ported that tool from our unreleased package to MGET
yet. But I can probably provide you a private copy from the unreleased package.

What version of ArcGIS do you have? Also, assuming you have 9.2 or later, are
you familiar with Arc's built-in batch-processing capability? I ask this
because it will be easiest for me if I can send you just the tool that takes a
single U and V raster and creates a single shapefile, and then allow you to use
Arc to do batch processing. We do have batch processing versions of the tool but
they might be more work to package up for you.

Best regards,

Jason

Hi,

I am wondering if you have the 'Vector Shapefiles from XY component
Rasters'  tool available for use?  I am trying to convert  Avisio
geostrophic u/v components in to line vectors,  in order to visualize ocean
current direction and velocity.  I found an MGET PowerPoint PDF online, and
saw that a tool was in use by your lab.  I'm studying seabirds and sea ducks
on the Nantucket Shoals and Georges Bank and am trying to layer the u/v
vector lines over sst, ssh, and chlorophyll data.

Thanks for all of your hard work on MGET, I use it all the time!

Cheers,
Tim
