Hi Emily,
Thanks for your interest in MGET. We're sorry you are seeing that error.
Usually, when an MGET tool results in that generic error with no additional
information, it is either a problem with the MGET installation or a
programming error in the tool. It is probably not the user. :-)
Please try the following:
1. Start a CMD shell (click the Windows Start button, click Run, type CMD
and click OK).
2. Copy the following as a single line of text. If your email program breaks
it into multiple lines, undo this before you copy it.
cmd.exe /C C:\PROGRA~1\GeoEco\ARCGIS~1\Scripts\REXPLO~3.PY "AllMobile"
"BATHY;RUGOSITY;ZONES" "#" "#" "Histogram" "Smooth" "Correlation" "#" "#"
"#" "#" "#" "480" "480" "12" "white"
3. Paste it into the CMD window. To paste, right-click in the window. Press
Enter to run the command.
4. Send me the output.
This procedure will run the tool in an environment that allows you to
capture more information. The tool is not reporting the information to the
ArcGIS progress window either because the problem occurs before the
connection to ArcGIS can even be initialized or because of a programming
error.
Thanks,
Jason

Subject: [mget-help] scatterplot matrix help
Aloha,
I've recently started using MGET and have been trying to run a
scatterplot matrix for table. I'm not going to pretend like I'm a
programmer, more of an Arc user. I've been using a shapefile with
extracted values from bathymetric derivatives as fields from the table.
This is the error I get.
ERROR 000714: Error in script
RExploratoryPlotsScatterplotMatrixForArcGISTable.
Error in executing: cmd.exe /C
C:\PROGRA~1\GeoEco\ARCGIS~1\Scripts\REXPLO~3.PY "AllMobile"
"BATHY;RUGOSITY;ZONES" "#" "#" "Histogram" "Smooth" "Correlation" "#"
"#" "#" "#" "#" "480" "480" "12" "white"
Failed to execute (RExploratoryPlotsScatterplotMatrixForArcGISTable).
I'm using Arc9.3 and don't know if that's the problem, or if it's the
user :) Any help would be appreciated.
Mahalos,
Emily
