Eric,

We’re sorry you’re seeing those errors. They result from Windows security enhancements introduced in Windows Vista that were well-intentioned by Microsoft but problematic for independent software developers who do not package their software using the Windows Installer (a.k.a. MSI). For more information, please see this recent thread. In short, to solve this, save the MGET installation program to your desktop and run it again by right clicking on it and selecting Run As Administrator.

The thread I referenced also mentions doing this for the pywin32 package as well, before you install MGET. I am not sure that is necessary for you because the error messages you sent contain evidence that pywin32 is installed. However if you are not 100% certain that it is installed properly, you could also reinstall it using Run As Administrator before reinstalling MGET, just to be sure.

Please let us know if you have any additional questions.

Best regards,

Jason

Hello:

I received two error messages during the installation of MGET and have attached them as a Word document.  Can you please help or suggest a fix.  I was unable to locate anything on your help Wiki.

Thanks for your time.
