Hi Frederico,
This problem usually means that the program is not being installed with administrator access. On Windows XP there was only one requirement: your user account must be an administrator. On Windows Vista or Windows 7 it is more complicated: your account must be an administrator *and* you must run the installation program using the "Run As Administrator" command. To do that:
1. Save the program to your desktop.
2. Right click on it and select Run As Administrator.
(The program was supposed to give a better error message describing this, after it gives the message you mentioned. We would like to remove the message you mention but it is in code written by the Python team so there is no way for us to get rid of it.)
