Hi Mega, MGET works on Windows 7 x64, but at this time, only a 32-bit
version is available. Therefore, to use MGET successfully, you must have a
32-bit version of Python installed. The 64-bit version of Python will not work. Although it is possible to use MGET 0.7 on Windows 7, we
recommend the latest alpha build of 0.8, currently 0.8 alpha 12. You can
download it on the MGET website here.
You should the Installation Package that matches your version of Python and
ArcGIS. Please see the Installation Instructions link on that page for detailed
instructions. Please note that we have not yet modified those instructions to
make any reference to Windows 7 or ArcGIS 10. MGET is compatible with both of
them. The instructions that apply to Windows Vista also apply to Windows 7. The
instructions that apply to ArcGIS 9.3 also apply to ArcGIS 10, except that ArcGIS
10 uses Python 2.6 rather than 2.5. If you encounter any problems, please email us the details and
we’ll try to help. Best regards, Jason From: Mega
