Hi Steve, Nice to hear from you. It sounds like you installed the correct pywin32 and GeoEco. Because ArcGIS Desktop is still a 32-bit program, it installs the 32-bit version of Python, and you need a 32-bit version of pywin32 and GeoEco. We do not presently release an AMD64 version, although we might eventually do that, particularly if ArcGIS Desktop started supporting 64 bit. I’m not sure what went wrong. Did the GeoEco installation program mention anything on the final window (the one where you click the Finish button and close the program)? My guess is that it installed correctly but failed to add the toolbox to the list in ArcGIS. It should have mentioned something about that, but perhaps it erroneously concluded that it was successful (or there was a bug in Arc, which is certainly not unheard of). In any case, you can add it manually like this: 1. Close all ArcGIS programs. 2. Start ArcCatalog. 3. In the ArcToolbox window, right click on the ArcToolbox node at the top and select Add Toolbox. 4. Navigate to C:\Program Files (x86)\GeoEco\ArcGISToolbox and use the toolbox you see there. 5. Close ArcCatalog At this point, you should see the toolbox in ArcCatalog and in all new ArcMap documents. You’ll have to add the toolbox manually to existing ArcMap documents, as each ArcMap document contains its own toolbox tree. That tree is initialized from ArcCatalog’s tree for new documents, but the MGET installer does not modify any existing documents. Best, Jason From: Intelmann, Steven S. [mailto:] Of note, The version of Python that was installed was whatever ArcGIS installed...my guess is 32 bit flavor. -- /*****************/ Steven S.
