Subject: | RE: [mget-help] MGET in ArcCatalog but not ArcMap |

Kosta, Thanks for your interest in MGET. The answer to your question depends on whether you are working with an ArcMap document that you created before you installed MGET. Each ArcMap document contains its own list of toolboxes that can be independently configured. When you create a new ArcMap document, the list of toolboxes for that document is initialized to ArcCatalog’s list. When you install MGET, it adds itself to ArcCatalog but it does not attempt to add itself to any existing ArcMap documents. Therefore, after installing MGET, you should see its toolbox in any new ArcMap documents, but not in any existing ones, because it was not around when you created those documents. To add it to an existing document, just go to the top of the list (the icon named ArcToolbox), right click, select Add Toolbox, and navigate to C:\Program Files\GeoEco\ArcGISToolbox and add the toolbox you see there. Note that on Windows x64, you need to go to C:\Program Files (x86) instead of C:\Program Files. Best regards, Jason From: Kosta Stamoulis [mailto:] Hello, I recently installed MGET and it appears when I access the ArcToolbox from ArcCatalog, but not from ArcMap. Is this normal, or is there a way to have it appear in ArcMap? I have ArcGIS version 10. Thanks, Kosta |
