Hi Irene,

Thanks for your interest in MGET. It should be in the usual location: Marine Geospatial Ecology Tools 0.8a33 / Data Products / Aviso / Sea Surface Height Products / Find Okubo-Weiss Eddies in Aviso SSH Product.

If you don’t see it, there might have been an installation problem. Recently we changed the location where the MGET toolbox file (.tbx) is installed, to make geoprocessing models built on 64-bit machines work on 32-bit machines, and vice versa. But due to a bug in Python itself, when the old version of MGET is uninstalled, Python does not remove the old toolbox. Then, when the new MGET is installed, there can be two toolboxes listed in the ArcToolbox tree, or other confusing situations.

Try this:

1.    Start ArcCatalog.

2.    Look at the ArcToolbox window. Verify that the MGET toolbox you see there ends with 0.8a33. If it does not (e.g. if it ends in 0.8a25), right click on it and remove it.

3.    Then right-click on ArcToolbox at the top and add a toolbox.

4.    Go to C:\Program Files\GeoEco\ArcGISToolbox and add the toolbox you see there. That is now the location for both 32-bit and 64-systems. Do not go to C:\Program Files (x86). That is the old location on 64-bit systems.

If that doesn’t fix it, let me know…

Best regards,

Jason

Hi, I have just installed MGET 0.8a33. I wanted to try the “find Okubo-Weiss Eddies in Aviso SSH Product” but I cannot find the function to do this. Is this only available in 0.8a25 version of mget? Many thanks.

Best regards,

Irene
