I just downloaded MGET and am quite excited about learning how to use it and trying out the tools. The first thing I wanted to do, however, was convert an HDF5 file to ArcGIS format. I read on your website that the current version of MGET cannot handle HDF5 files. I am relatively new to dealing with rasters of these complex types and just thought I would send an email to see if you have any further suggestions for how to "unpack" or convert these types of files. I have tried the "extract subset" tool in ArcGIS10 and it does not give an error, but runs for 12+hrs with no result. I would greatly appreciate any suggestions or tips you might have.
