Dear Rocío,
You're welcome for the tool. We're glad you find it useful.
Do you have any specific questions on the connectivity tool? We are
preparing a step-by-step example but this will not be ready for some time.
In September we will first be updating the connectivity tool itself to
include a new algorithm and additional biological parameters, as described
in the following publication. Once that is done we will prepare the
step-by-step example using the new tool. If you can wait until that point,
it might be easier to follow from there. Otherwise, if you have some
specific questions I can try to answer them.
Treml EA, Roberts J, Chao Y, Halpin PN, Possingham HP, Riginos C (in press).
Reproductive output and duration of the pelagic larval stage determine
seascape-wide connectivity of marine populations. Integrative and
Comparative Biology.
Best regards,
Jason

Subject: [mget-help] Connectivity tool
Dear MGET-help,
First of all, I want to thank you for developing this amazing tool! :)
I'm a M.Sc student at Universidad de los Andes, Bogotá, Colombia.
I'm working on my thesis and I`m trying to include an oceanographic
connectivity model. It has not been an easy task as I'm new working with
ArcGis, so I was wondering if you may give some tips to make things easier.
I read your past post (June 22,2012) about the same topic but is a little
confusing. I also ask an ArcGis expert and he gave some tips to make the
input but Im not quite sure it will work.
I hope you can help me.
Thanks in advance.
Best regards!
