Dear Valeria, I’m sorry about this. I think the problem is that OBIS has discontinued the DiGIR service. I can offer two suggestions: 1.
If you are interested in specific taxa (e.g. fish, microbes, etc.), it may be that the lower-level, taxa-specific OBIS nodes are still operating
their DiGIR servers. If that is true and we can locate the URL for the server for your taxon of interest, it should be possible to query that server using the MGET tool. If you tell me what you’re interested in, I’ll see if I can locate a URL. 2.
There must now be another way to extract data from OBIS. I can put you in touch with technical people at OBIS who can provide assistance. Let me know how you’d like to proceed. Best regards, Jason From: Ma. Valeria Retana [mailto:]
