Dear Dhyey,
Thanks for your interest in MGET. I can help you with this problem, but I'm
away from the office for the next two weeks (returning 25 August), and cannot
look at it in detail until then.
From past experience, this problem usually results from an installation issue
with R. Most often, it is that the R entries are missing from the Windows
registry, or that the R version is too new for the installed MGET version.
The latest version of MGET supports R up to version 3.1.1, so that should not
be an issue currently.
I recommend you try this:
1. Close all R and ArcGIS programs.
2. Uninstall R 3.1.0 and MGET.
3. Install R 3.1.0 (or 3.1.1) again. When you do this, make sure you allow
the 32-bit R files to be installed and the R registry entries to be created.
These things are done by default, so if you just accept the default options,
it should work fine.
4. Install the latest version of MGET again.
5. Try again.
The order of installation of R and MGET do not matter. You can switch steps 3
and 4, or uninstall R or MGET and reinstall as needed. MGET detects R on the
fly each time it runs.
I hope that helps. If not, i can help the week of 25 August.
Best,
Jason

Subject: [mget-help] Help ! to troubleshoot running R in MGET tool
Dear Sir/Madam,
I am a user(novice at moment but already a fan) of MGET tool for arcgis.
recently i am working of a species distribution modelling and had been
looking in to GAM Model for which i have used R. I found the toolset in
MGET for running the r statement but when i try to execute it gives me an
error regarding absence of R software in my system (Pls see attached
Screenshot). I have R 3.1.0 as well as 2.6.2 installed and also r studio.
Please help me troubleshoot this problem.
I am using a limited user account and also R is installed in my documents
and not in program files of OS drive. I am using ArcGIS 9.3 and its
compatible MGET.
