Hi Barbara, Thanks for your interest in MGET. Even though we wrote the tool, ArcGIS itself is responsible for the user interface and controls how the dates must be entered.
I can probably help you figure it out, but I will be guessing—I cannot look at the code because it was written by ESRI. Based on previous feedback from MGET users, I believe that ArcGIS uses the same date format that is present in the Region and Language settings of the Windows
Control Panel. On my U.S. English Windows 7 computer, I can access those settings by clicking Start, typing Region And Language, and clicking on the first result. I get the box shown below, beneath my signature. The “short date” format is the one that I must
use in ArcGIS. The example they show is 11/24/2014. I have heard from MGET users that use other language versions of Windows that they must enter the date in another format. I have noticed that I can also enter dates in the format YYYY-MM-DD, such as 2014-11-24, and that ArcGIS converts them to the operating system’s format of MM/DD/YYYY.
Perhaps you could try that. Best regards, Jason From: Barbara Burcul [mailto:]
Hi, I'm trying to create raster for aqua
modis chlorophyll monthly concentration and I want to specify starting and ending dates because I need data for march 2013 and september 2013 only. I don't understand how should I do it, because whatever I write in start/ end date box, arc gis responds
with "please provide a value in a supported date/time format". Thank you for your help, with nicely regards |
