Hi Jen, I can help you fix this. Here are three possibilities: 1.
If you have R 3.1.2 or 3.1.3, you need MGET 0.8a57 which was just released on Thursday. 0.8a56 is compatible with 3.1.1 but not later versions. To upgrade,
close all ArcGIS programs, uninstall 0.8a56 from the Programs and Features part of the Windows Control Panel, then install 0.8a57. 2.
If you have R 3.0.0, MGET is not compatible with it due to a bug in that release of R. The bug was fixed in 3.0.1, so just upgrade R to that or a later
release. 3.
If those aren’t the problem then it is usually something more complicated relating to how R is installed. Follow up with me privately and I’ll send
a script to help diagnose the issue. BTW, who was your instructor and where was the workshop? Best, Jason From: Jen Jelincic [mailto:]
Hi, My name is Jen Jelincic and I am a graduate student at SJSU, currently in a Marine Geospatial Workshop in Monterey. We are using MGET to make predictions using a GLM, but I am getting an error saying that I need to have a higher version
of R (even though I have a version higher than what is required). One of the instructors told me he had the same issue, and that there was someway to work around that error message, but that I would need your help. Can you point me in the right direction? Thank you so much for your help, I really appreciate your time, Jen -- Jennifer Jelincic |
