Dear Dr. Shahnawaz, Sorry for my slow response. Unfortunately the 64-bit version is not going to be released anytime soon. It is not trivial; because MGET integrates so many other
Python packages within itself, they must all be ported as well. We have been busy with higher priority work and it looks like that will continue for a while. Please note that the 32-bit MGET can be installed on 64-bit computers (virtually all Windows installations that occur now are 64-bit). The main scenario for which
the 64-bit version of MGET is necessary is when running ArcGIS Desktop with the 64-bit Background Geoprocessing. That feature of ArcGIS installs a 64-bit version of Python, and a 64-bit version of MGET would be necessary to use it. Best regards, Jason From: Shahnawaz Shahnawaz [mailto:]
Hello, I got across this website
http://mgel.env.duke.edu/mget/download/ and wonder if 64 Bit version is going to be released soon! Thanks for your early response. Shahnawaz ------------------------- DR. SHAHNAWAZ
