I’m sorry you are seeing that with Symantec Endpoint. Thanks for the screenshot. As far as I can tell, it is overreacting. The “signature” reported by Symantec is RS.Reputation.1. If you google on that you can see that it is a “reputation based” failure. In short, I believe that because the MGET installation program is a .exe file (this is a limitation imposed by Python itself) that has been seen by Symantec relatively rarely compared to more common programs (there are perhaps several thousand installations of MGET per year; compare that to, say, 7-Zip which must have 10s of millions), Symantec is being ultra-cautious in preventing you from installing it.

I am GIS Specialist interested in using your MGET for ArcGIS 10.3 tool. I went to your site and have several waring regarding risks with the file (see attached). Have you guys had similar complaints? Is it just my Symantec Endpoint overreacting? What’s the best way forward.
