Tim,

Thanks for reporting this. It is a very unusual problem which I will look into. It will not affect your ability to use MGET from ArcGIS. Assuming there were no other error messages, MGET should have installed fine for use from ArcGIS. This message is only related to using MGET from programming languages, and it only affects languages other than Python.

Feel free to contact me if you have any other problems and we’ll get them sorted out.

Best,

Jason

Subject: [mget-help] MGET setup program GeoEco error message

Dear MGET admin,

I’m running ArcGIS 10.3 and installed Python 2.7 and the corresponding win32 extension package. I followed the MGET install instruction on your websit. All seemed to work fine, then I got an error message (attached and embedded below) in the final stages of installation. When I open ArcMap the MGET Toolbox appears, and all the functions appear to be there.

Does this error message mean that certain functions will be inhibited in MGET? I want to clarify this first, and get this problem resolved before going ahead and sourcing SST and salinity data for my study site.

Thank you in advance for your assistance. I look forward to your response.

Kind regards,

Tim Hunt
