Dear Kaveh,
Thanks for your interest in MGET. It is not necessary to install Python yourself. ArcGIS comes with Python already. It is necessary to install the “Python for Windows Extensions” though. Did you try to install that? What happened when you did?
Best regards,

Hello, I am a Ph.D. student in marine biology at Department of Biology, University of Guilan, Rasht, Iran. At present I have work on my thesis entitled “Modeling of environmental factors affecting abundance distribution of Kilka fishes (Pisces :
Clupeidae) catch in southern region of Caspian Sea, Iran ” under supervision of Dr. Nader Shabanipour. I would like to ask help for installing MGET program in my computer. I had installed the Arc GIS , but unfortunately can not download MGET’s requirements such “Python” and “Python for Windows Extensions” to complete installing process. -- Kaveh Amiri University of Guilan, Rasht, Iran
