Dear Victoria,

Yes, that error:

ImportError: No module named _GeoEcoArcGISHelper

almost always indicates there is an installation problem with MGET. Often it is because there are multiple versions of Python on the machine and MGET is installed to one of them but not the one that ArcGIS expects. This situation usually occurs when ArcGIS is upgraded. I would suggest reinstalling MGET, like this:

1.    Go to the part of the Windows Control Panel that lists the installed programs. In the English version of Windows, this is called Programs and Features. (You can click the Start button and type Programs and Features to find it.)

2.    Scroll down to programs beginning with the word Python. Remove all programs that say Python 2.7 Marine Geospatial Ecology Tools.

3.    Install MGET for Py 2.7 again from the MGET website.

Now try the tool again. If that does not work, please let me know and we can diagnose the machine further.

All the best,

Jason

Subject: [mget-help] Failed to execute Create Raster MODIS SST

Dear Jason,

I am trying to download annual satellite images of SST and I get the following error:

Traceback (most recent call last):

  File "C:\Program Files\GeoEco\ArcGISToolbox\Scripts\MODISL3SSTTimeSeriesCreateArcGISRasters.py", line 1, in <module>

    import sys, _GeoEcoArcGISHelper

ImportError: No module named _GeoEcoArcGISHelper

Failed to execute (MODISL3SSTTimeSeriesCreateArcGISRasters).

Failed at Wed Oct 05 08:34:54 2016 (Elapsed Time: 0,01 seconds)

I looked it up on the MGET mailing list and I found a similar error that says that MGET is not properly installed, but I am not sure if this is my case. I have ArcGis 10.3 and Python 2.7.x

Many thanks in advanced for your help

Kindest regards

Victoria
