Dear YP,

I’m sorry about this. We were distributing the MCR installer from the lab’s Trac server that hosts the MGET source code, but apparently the server had to be moved behind our firewall because of a security issue. I thought that this had been fixed but it apparently has not, and the server is still behind the firewall and inaccessible to the Internet. I will follow up with our IT people about this.

Meanwhile, you can download the MCR installer from here: https://duke.box.com/v/mget

Best,

Jason

Subject: [mget-help] mget matlab runtime 7.7

Hi,

I'm an Earth Observation Data Processing Specialist at ARCTUS, Inc, and very interested in the excellent MGET tool.

Just have one question about the matlab runtime that is required by the front detection module in MGET.

The document provides a link to free download the specific runtime (7.7) (http://code.nicholas.duke.edu/projects/mget/wiki/MCR), but it is not available.

I am wondering is there any new link to it, or is it possible to share it with us?

Any reply from you will be appreciated!

Following is the relevant snippet from the documentation:

"

MATLAB, version 2007b, or the free MATLAB Component Runtime (MCR) version 7.7 - this is required by MGET tools that perform certain numerical calculations.

Either one will work, but you must have the exact version specified here. Newer or older versions will not work. If you do not have MATLAB 2007b already installed,

we recommend you download the MATLAB Component Runtime from the link above.

"

Best regards,

Yanqun Pan
