We are a small group of marine biologists and GIS specialists situated in Norway, seeking ways to understand/ predict the distribution of sensitive seabed habitats (sponge grounds) along the northern coast of Norway. The goal is to improve the understanding of where these habitats can be found so harm can be avoided.
We are impressed by the versatility and in depth analysis choices you have provided in the MGET tools.
When it comes to the installation we have some questions regarding the “R part” of the MGET tools. From https://mgel.env.duke.edu/mget/download/ we have installed MGET-0.8a75.win32-py2.7.exe running on ArcGIS 3.10.1 and Python 2.7. This seems to work perfect. But when it comes to running the Statistics tools (using R) we run into problems. We have tried different versions of R, but get error messages saying that we have the wrong version of R. We also have problems finding the correct version of RGDAL, corresponding to the different R versions.
Which version of R will work for all MGET tools in Statistics/Model data? How to install the correct version of RGDAL? (install.packages('rgdal') seems not to work from older versions of R)
