Hi Pat,

Nice to hear from you! I hope all is well in (rainy?) Monterey Bay.

We do not have a specific timeline other than 1) we plan to start this coming month (March) and 2) it will be 64-bit Python 3.x / ArcPro only. Since Python 2.x has long hit end of life, and Esri has sunset ArcGIS Desktop as you noted, we likely won't make any more 2.x/Desktop compatible releases. We have to interleave this work with some higher priority cetacean modeling that is driven by U.S. regulatory timelines so the exact schedule is not well-defined. If you have tools or capabilities that are particularly useful to you, feel free to share that info with me and we'll try to take it into consideration.
