Dear Leonel, Most likely, the problem is that the MSVCR71.DLL does not exist in the appropriate Windows directory. If you are on a 64-bit machine, check the directory C:\Windows\SysWOW64. Does MSVCR71.DLL exist there? If you are on a 32-bit machine, check C:\Windows\system32 for it instead. If you do not find MSVCR71.DLL, then you must place a copy there. ArcGIS 9.3 includes a copy. On a 64-bit machine, it will be in the C:\Program Files (x86)\ArcGIS\Desktop10.0\Bin directory. On a 32-bit machine, it will be in the C:\Program Files\ArcGIS\Desktop10.0\Bin directory. Copy it from there into the appropriate Windows directory. Now try the MGET installation again. Best regards, Jason From: Leonel Batista [mailto:] Dear Sr.Nicolas, my name is Leonel Gonçalves and I am trying to install the extension MGET. My operating system is windows 7 and I have ArcGIS version 9.3. My problem is that when I try to install either version pywin32-py2.5 or MGET-0.8a44.win32-py2.5, I get the following error - c:\windows\system32\MSVCR71.dll is either not designed to run on windows or it contains an error. Try installing the program again using the original installation media or contact your system administrator or the software vendor to support. Can Mr. Nicolas help me on this issue? Thanks for the attention and I wait for a contact. Best regards -- |
