Hi again,
Further to my earlier email (copied below), our IT department have said that access is ok from our side, but have advised that the addresses are no longer valid/appear to have changed (perhaps some house-keeping has been done). The parent folders are at the following addressed for OSCAR and YCOM currents respectively:
Is it possible for you to update the addresses in the Python scripts that the tool uses, or is this tool essentially ‘retired’? Or is there a more up-to-date version of the tool that we should use (we used the MGET tool for ArcGIS 10.1-10.4, as we’re using ArcGIS 10.3, with Python 2.7)?
Thank you for your time.
Best wishes, Annika

Hi Jason/anyone who can help J
We have been trying to use the ‘Simulate Larval Dispersal’ tool , and have successfully completed step 1 (Create larval dispersal simulation from ArcGIS rasters) and have since been attempting to load currents data (specifically either the HYCOM GLBa0.08, or the OSCAR currents), however these have not worked so far due to an issue with connecting to the servers. I am getting our IT folk to check it’s not an issue with our firewalls blocking access (I work for a research institute in Northern Ireland which has its internet through the NI Gov servers, so it’s high security and blocks many sites) but I wanted to check that the addresses used in the tool are up-to-date? Specifically these are:
and Thank you in advance for your help.
Kind regards, Annika
