Dear Paola,
Unfortunately there is no version of MGET that runs on Linux, nor does ArcGIS Desktop or ArcGIS Pro run on Linux.
MGET does not run on ArcGIS Pro, either, only on ArcGIS Desktop. I recommend that you:
1. Uninstall MGET 2. Uninstall pywin32 3. Uninstall Python 2.7 4. Uninstall ArcGIS Pro 5. Install ArcGIS Desktop. The trial version should be ok. 6. Do NOT install Python 2.7 yourself. ArcGIS Desktop installed it for you, and you should use its version. 7. Install pywin32 for Python 2.7 (32-bit) 8. Install MGET for Python 2.7
You can read more about MGET’s larval dispersal tools here. They can be challenging to use, but if you have appropriate data and are able to work through the challenges, we believe they can give good results.
Best, Jason

Dear,
I am a brand new user of ArcGis. In fact, I am only using it because of the MGET. I want to verify the dispersion of larvae among several areas in Brazilian coast. I was trying to do it with the Matlab, but something went wrong and I don't have time to solve the problem right now.
I have a few questions for you, and I apologize if I am too dummy.
1) I can't do it in the linux, right? There is no support for ArcGis in linux platform?
2) I installed in a windows the trial version of ArcGis (ArcGis PRO). Then I installed the python 2.7, then the pywin32 and then the MGET. But I am not finding the toll in ArcGis. Could you help me, please?
3) Do I have to load the circulation dataset?
Thank you for your time.
Kind reg ards,
Paola
