Hello,
Thanks for your interest in MGET. Are you using ArcGIS Desktop? If so, you should first install pywin32 32-bit for Python 2.7 to your ArcGIS Python installation, e.g. C:\Python27\ArcGIS10.6. Then install MGET for Python 2.7 to the same location.
Note that MGET does not currently work with Python 3.x or with 64-bit Python 2.7. It can still be installed on a Windows x64 operating system (this is normal). But it cannot be used with ArcGIS Pro (which uses Python 3.x) or with ArcGIS Desktop 64-bit Background Geoprocessing (which uses 64-bit Python 2.7).
Best regards,
Jason

I get to know your product Marine Geospatial Ecology Tools from a paper. It attract me very much, so i decide to apply it in my study .But now I have some troubles to install it.I can not install it correctly since it told me 'Running the pre-installation script failed Traceback (most recent call last): File "<string>", line 227, in <module> RuntimeError: The Python for Windows Extensions (a.k.a. the pywin32 package) are not installed for this version of Python. MGET requires this package. Please download it from http://sourceforge.net/projects/pywin32/, install it, and run this MGET setup program again. When you download it, be sure to select the package that is appropriate for your version of Python (version 2.7).' I can't solve it.BTW,I have install Python 3.6.5 on my desktop, may i also have python 2.7.My operating system is X64 ,What should i do? thank you |
